I am one blessed girl to have such a wonderful best friend by my side. I don’t brag on him often enough.
I am very thankful for all that he does for me, but lately, I have been so stinkin’ amazed by what he does for others. Which, in turn, blesses me to see him be so good to others.
He is such a loyal friend. I have seen him love on people time and time again even if they treat him less than stellar.
He is not petty.
He is honest.
He has a passion for truth.
He works through problems and faces them head on…fearlessly.
He never gossips.
He stands up for people, and believes the best in them.
He prays through decisions and makes them confidently.
He accepts people where they are at – even if he doesn’t agree with them.
He searches out Scripture and seeks to understand it.
He is a learner. For those of you who may have known him growing up, you will know that he has never been a reader. He only read when he was required to for school. In the last two years, I have seen him develop a passion for learning and he has devoured books…reading 35+ books in one year.
He makes me want to be a better person.
He is seriously hilarious…and a tad goofy.
He uses his talents to help others.
He is a leader.
He inspires others.
He has vision for the future.
He is so much fun to be around.
I desire to be a wife that frees my husband to be the best he can be. To be completely himself. Not some version of him that I want him to be.
Jeffrey, you are loved and respected. I am so proud of you!!! Happy birthday!
Here’s to another wonderful year together.
